IB PYP September Profile Trait of the Month

PRINCIPLED: Self-assessment is necessary when considering if a person is principled. Principled students have integrity, are honest with themselves and others, are fair, follow rules, are responsible, understand the difference between right and wrong and make good choices.

If you missed out first IB night, please reach out to our IB Coordinator, Ms. Christine VanBuren and she will gladly fill you in on what our school is doing to prepare for our Authorization visit in the Fall.

Service Hours

Have you completed your 8 hours of service for this past school year? If not, there are plenty of opportunities posted on the Raptor system. If you did not complete your hours for the previous school year, your student may not be able to participate in any extra curricular activities, sports teams, or attend field trips.

Families started earning hours this past July. We have several opportunities available such as, moving classroom supplies, painting, and other campus organizational duties. There are also many more opportunities through our PTO. Look for sign ups coming soon for Boosterthon in early December.

i-Ready Usage

Most students have completed their i-Ready Diagnostic and are now going to be held accountable for completing 45 minutes a week in math and 45 minutes a week in ELA. All students know how to log in because they took the assessment, however if they have difficulty at home, please email their homeroom teacher for assistance.
