Oskar Schindler

Who is Oskar Schindler?

Oskar Schindler was a businessman who was credited for saving the lives of 1,200 Jews. He saved them because he convinced the Nazis that they would be good workers. Oskar had them working in his enamel factory's, which are located which is now Poland and the Czech Republic. He made these factory's to make items that were good for the war. He bribed the SS officials to keep him from having his Jews slaughtered until the end of World war 2. Later he fled and the soviets saved the Jews. Still to this day, we remember Oskar for his great deed towards the Jewish people. He should be remembered for the saving of 1,200 Jewish people lives during this terrible time. He was hope.
