Join ACHE @ UGA
My name is Alexeia Garnett, and I am a 5th year Health Promotion and Behavior major. I serve as the Undergraduate Liaison for the UGA Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). ACHE is an organization for undergraduate and graduate students interested in healthcare administration and management. We host seminars and networking opportunities where members will be able to gain insights and diverse perspectives from healthcare leaders from a variety of settings. Currently, we are recruiting more undergraduate students that are interested in health administration. Membership with ACHE could be beneficial to any undergraduate student with healthcare interests because the student can take advantage of the professional development, service, and social events aimed at improving health and advancing the profession of healthcare management.

Looking for outdoor study spaces?
UGA is pleased to announce the launch of an online interactive map to help students, and the entire campus community, to find places to study, connect to an online class, or sit for a while between on-campus classes. Faculty may find this map useful to discover outside venues to hold a class. Places include both interior and exterior locations. Interior spaces are provided as a list of study-specific and other open-seating areas within select buildings and include recommended Fall 2020 capacities and other descriptive features. The exterior spaces are searchable by filters including features such as: area of campus, seating types, and distance from current location.

UGA is an expansive campus with many beautiful, and sometimes hidden, outdoor and indoor spaces. Discover a new favorite place to study or take a break.
