We need your help to make Field day a big success and are looking for 10 volunteers to help us run the game stations/supervise the students, and 4-5 volunteers to help serve food at the BBQ. Volunteers need to meet at the bell tower at 8:30 a.m. to help set up and get your assignment.
If you are interested in helping and finishing up those service hours, please email Gaydine Spiess at gspiess@gracelcms.net.
FAMILY SERVICE HOURS ARE DUE!
The Business Office will be sending out invoices for Family Service Hours soon. Please return your forms Monday in your Special Delivery envelope with your updated hours.
Don’t worry, you still have time to rack up more service hours, we just need to have everyone see where they are with their hours. There are still several things to volunteer for. The Business office will accept service hours up to the end of the school year.
For those of you that were able to earn more than the requested 30 hours of service, you may donate your hours to someone specific by writing their Family name on your form or you may just mark “Donate extra hours” and they will be applied as needed. If you have any questions please call the school office. 760-747-3029
SUMMER CAMP STARTS JUNE 5th!
THIS SUMMER AT GRACE - VBS R O A R!
July 8th through 12th is VBS time at Grace! We're planning to have a ROARing good time!
At Roar VBS, kids discover that even though life gets wild, God is good. Roar is filled with incredible Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, touch, and even taste!
Sciency-Fun Gizmos™, team-building games, cool Bible songs, and tasty treats are just a few of the standout activities that help faith flow into real life. (Since everything is hands-on, kids might get a little messy. Be sure to send them in play clothes and safe shoes.) Plus, we’ll help kids discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life—something we call God Sightings®. Get ready to hear that phrase a lot!
Your kids will also participate in a hands-on mission project, through a program called Operation Kid-to-Kid™, that will provide nutrition and good health opportunities to moms and babies in Zambia, Africa.
Parents, grandparents, and friends are invited to join us at Safari Celebration each day with dinner at 5:15.
So mark these dates on your calendar: July 8-12. VBS starts at 6:30 and will end at 8:15.
See registration button below
If you're interested in volunteering for VBS please contact Victoria Swanson.
Sincerely,
Your Roar VBS Director
Victoria Swanson
