ROCKLAND HIGH SCHOOL WEEKLY UPDATE

October 28, 2022

The Principal's Corner

It's hard to believe Term 1 ends on Friday, November 4th. We've had a very busy term filled with lots of learning in the classrooms, increased student involvement in extracurricular life, and just an overall great feel for a special sense of community that we have here at the high school.

With term 1 ending next week, all students are encouraged to come to Saturday School on October 29th from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM. Any student is welcome to come and make-up work or receive extra help in Math, English, History, Science, and World Language.

Term 1 grades will become available on Tuesday, November 15th on Aspen. Let's finish term 1 strong!

Parent-Teacher Conferences Sign-Ups

With term 1 closing on November 4th, and grades becoming available in the late afternoon on November 15th, it is a perfect time in mid-November for Parent-Teacher Conferences. On Wednesday, November 16th, Rockland High School faculty will host Parent-Teacher Conferences from 6:30-8:00 pm. During the afternoon on Thursday, November 17th, there will be an early release for students at 11:20 AM for parents to come for afternoon conferences from 12:30-2:30 PM.

Please register for conferences by clicking on this link. It does not matter which day you show up for the conference or the time; by registering, it allows staff to adequately prepare for the conference.

Please print off your child’s schedule and visit your child’s classrooms during these time windows. There are no pre-scheduled appointments during these time windows so please drop by and see your child’s teachers as you would like.
