I want to start by congratulating our students and staff on having one of MSD Warren’s Top 5 Student Attendance Rates over the last week! WOW! We know how important attendance at school truly is - and we are so grateful to parents, families, staff, and students for making sure our Pumas attend school EVERY day! I also want to thank our staff for their exceptional attendance over the last couple of weeks; they care so much about our students and want to be at RP every day to support them!
We have just two remaining days of ILEARN testing. This coming week, students will take their Science (grade 6) and Social Studies (grade 5) assessments on Monday and Tuesday. Starting this Wednesday we will return to our typical daily schedule for the remainder of the year. Coming up soon, students will take their final round of NWEA testing - the test they also took in August and December that measures their growth against national norms.
For those students and parents attending our end of year trips to Louisville or Cincinnati, here’s a bit of information: parents who are chaperoning the trips should plan to be at RPIA by 7:30 am on your trip day. After checking in at the main office, you will be sent to the Fieldhouse where we will pass out t-shirts and get into groups before boarding buses! Students attending the field trips can arrive at school as they normally do (via bus or car-rider line) and we will have them report to the Fieldhouse as well.
As we move through our final month of school, we will continue with school business as usual - we still have 20 important days left of instruction to make sure your student gets everything he or she needs to complete their 5th or 6th grade year!
