Al Capone was born January 17, 1899 in Brooklyn New York. His full name is Alphonse Gabriel Capone. Al Capone has three siblings Frank, Ralph and Rose Capone
Al Capone quit school after 6th grade after hitting a teacher.
Capone's Crimes
February 14, 1929 Valentines day massacre Capone's men dressed like police men and went to kill bugs Moran and his men. Even after this he didn't go to jail but what he did go to jail for was carrying a concealed weapon . He got sentenced 11 years on October 17, 1931. This was the only crime they could actually arrest him for. Until tax evasion when he went to Alcatraz.
Prison For Capone
When Capone was arrested he first went to Eastern State Penitentiary. While he was there he got to decorate his room he got nice furs, a nice rug lamps and a chair to go into the corner. He then had to go to Alcatraz for tax evasion. While he was in Alcatraz a man named James "Tex" Lucas tried to kill Capone. He attacked Capone in the shower cutting him a bunch of times with a pair of scissors.
Capone's Death
Capone contracted syphilis from all the prostitutes that he spent time with. After he got sick he went to a hospital to spend the rest of his time. Capone died on January 25, 1947 from a stroke. He was buried at Mount Carmel Cemetary, Proviso Township, IL
