Delinquency in Trujillo

To begin, I want to talk about me; I am 19 years old and I live in Trujillo, like all of you and all peruvians do I suffer insecurity every day. I am really tired of criminals.

The act of delinquency is committing criminal acts or offenses. Sometimes I try to understand this situation. Maybe it's the drug that makes young people commit crimes but we all know that this comes from home; there is no culture, no respect for life, and a lack of education.

Delinquency has drastically increased over the years and also there is an increase in young members of street gangs because they can't receive an adequate punishment. The lack of discipline among the under-aged has indeed contributed to this problem. Children on the edge of adulthood can easily acquire illegal substances, which also have lead to even more crimes.

I think all these criminals should be punished with the entire severity of the law, even if they are under-age, they must be judged by the magnitude of the crimes committed. If the nature of the acts committed by minors is serious enough to be tried under adult laws, this is the course of action that should be taken. Even minors are clearly capable of understanding the law and their obligations to comply with it.

In conclusion, this is the only way that can reduce and control this huge problem facing Trujillo. This should make the perpetrators understand the real extent of their actions.
