Sharing Smiles will be new for the 2018-19 school year!
We invite you to share with us a photo of your child(ren) highlighting their community service, academic recognition, arts awards, athletic accomplishment, or another exciting recognition that makes them smile. We will share it with our community on our Sharing Smiles bulletin board as you enter UC. As your family has special events over the summer, keep in mind anything that might be good for the Sharing Smiles board. Please send the digital photo of your child(ren) with a short explanation of the special event to Susan Sadler at sadlers@parkhill.k12.mo.us
Each month we will share new ‘smiles’ for all to see!
Park Hill Education Foundation Fundraiser Information
The Park Hill School District Education Foundation discount card sales program benefits schools and patrons alike. The schools, in conjunction with Major Saver, work with businesses throughout the district to offer a $15 full color discount card providing the customer with 21 local buy-one-get-one-free offers. Proceeds from the card campaign to the Park Hill School District Education Foundation and participating schools.
Discount card sales occur in the Park Hill schools starting Thursday, November 1st thru Monday, November 12th.
Major Saver cards can be purchased via cash, check or online at www.Majorsaver.com.
Online sales can be credited back to a particular student and school. All cards purchased online will be mailed directly to the customer.
New Infinite Campus Apps for Parents and Students
Infinite Campus has released two brand new apps to connect Park Hill families with what’s going on in the classroom. These free apps, called Campus Parent and Campus Student, are designed to give parents and students real-time access to grades, attendance information, assignments, and more. The easy-to-use design displays what is currently happening in the classroom so you can understand, monitor, and participate in the educational process.
They are available for download from both Google Play and the Apple Store. If you already have the current Campus Portal app for parents, it will no longer be supported; make sure to download the new Campus Parent so you don’t miss anything.
Don’t forget to enable push notifications for instant updates! Just download the app, tap the user icon in the top right, and select Settings > Notification Settings.

The Park Hill Star recognition program was started in 2015 to celebrate support staff and teachers whose work is especially noteworthy. Recently, PHSD Superintendent Dr. Jeanette Cowherd visited Union Chapel to congratulate three staff members who were nominated by parents and students. Pictures of these visits are below.

The following is an overview of the Park Hill Star Program:
Our employees are the reason we are so successful here in the Park Hill School District, and we would like to recognize them for all they do for our students.
That is why we present the Park Hill Star award once a month to a pre-K or elementary teacher, a secondary teacher and a support employee.
