Happy Birthday, Dr. King. We celebrate the life and achievements of this inspirational civil rights leader.
HIGHLIGHTS OF PATRIOTS SPIRIT AT FBMS
Thanks to everyone who showed their Patriots pride today! In the past 20 years, the Patriots have been to the AFC Championships 13 times. Out of those 13 times, they have won 8 times and gone onto the Super Bowl. Let's do it again. Go Pats!
ATTENDANCE AT A GLANCE
- Students with chronic absenteeism (10 or more absences per year) are more likely to struggle with basic skills and reaching grade level benchmarks.
- By law, we track attendance and work to keep our rates high so that all children can access an education.
- Students should be dropped off by 7:40AM to make homeroom by 7:50AM. And at 7:55AM, everyday, the learning begins!
JANUARY READING PROGRAM IN FULL SWING
January is the Month to test your survival skills or earn money to spend on Scholastic purchases at February's Book Fair!
Students can Read- Listen-Watch an item from the FBMS library or its Overdrive Catalog, fill out a form, and earn a Book Fair dollar. They can then use those dollars to participate in the 2019 Library HUNGER GAMES! The more "dollars" students have, the better the odds are for their success. OR they can just keep the dollars to use at the fair.
See Mrs. Deluca for details!

REMINDER: SAFETY ACCESS INTO FBMS
The safety of our students and faculty is a top priority at FBMS. We want to continue to foster a welcoming environment while adhering to the safety protocol for entry into the building. Please be patient & understanding as our front office personnel ensures appropriate procedures are being followed.
All school doors are locked at all times. Visitors must ring the bell located on the outside on the main entrance doors. The bell will activate the front office camera/intercom so that the school personnel can see/speak to the visitor prior to allowing entry to the vestibule area. Upon entry, visitors will be asked to provide a government issued ID ( drivers license or passport) in order to gain access to the main building. A visitor badge will be issued and required to be worn inside the building. Thank you for your understanding.
