The Mancos RE-6 School District would like to invite you to join students and staff to celebrate the work they have accomplished through PBL and Science Fair projects during the 2021-22 school year. The event will take place on Thursday, March 10th from 5:00pm - 8:00pm in the cafeteria and gymnasium of the elementary school.

This annual event, which we were not able to host last year, is an opportunity for students, teachers, parents, and anyone from our regional community to gather together and celebrate the work that has been done in our schools and community. Our ability to remain open to in-person learning this year has been challenging, and it has taken a lot of dedication, extra and unfamiliar duties, and tremendous flexibility from our students and staff to adapt. Our Open House is an opportunity to shine a light on the great work they have done, in spite of the challenges faced. It is not only a celebration of learning, but also resilience.

Please join us to view and discuss student projects, chat with students and teachers, appreciate our renovated spaces, and most importantly support the heart & soul of our community. If that’s not enough, come to feast at the yummy potato bar for a small fee to help raise funds for the junior class’ prom!

Mancos Transportation Department will be making new snow routes for the 2-

hour delay days starting March 07, 2022. The snow day routes will be shorter and require

parents to drop off students closer to the district’s main roadways. The new routes on the two-hour delay days are necessary because the current routes are not safely accessible by school buses in inclement weather. Those affected will be notified directly about the new snow routes by March 07, 2022.

Times will be 4:15 pm - 5:30 pm.

PSAT & SAT Testing Information (9th-11th grades)

The Preadministartion for the PSAT and SAT will be on Wednesday, April 6th from 1PM-2PM. Please make sure students are in attendance.

The Test Date for the PSAT 9, 10 and SAT (11th) is on Wednesday, April 13th from 7:50-12:25. Please make sure students are in attendance and on time!

Students will report to the following PreAdmin and Test Day Rooms:

9th- A-L: Reynolds

9th-M-Z: Willbanks

**Marchino will be testing accommodations for freshman

10th-A-M: Mr. Dalley

10th-N-Z:Mrs. Endres

**Guiles will be testing accommodations for sophomores

11th-All Juniors report to the ASL classroom (217) for preadministration day and to the Performance Center for test day.

**Farrar will be testing accommodations for juniors

As time gets closer the front office will have ordering information.

The new yearbook club is seeking photos of any school related activities and happenings; for example sports, field trips, plays, projects, clubs, etc.

Also, seniors they will need a senior photo, your baby picture and your senior quote.

All photos MUST be submitted by March 15th to be able to meet the publishing deadline.
