2015 in Review
2015 was the year for new artists to surface, stars to shine, and classic movie throwbacks.
Best Companies of 2015
Google, Disney and Apple for their amazing marketing scheme, and their hard working executive team.
Top Movies of 2015
Star Wars: The force awakens and Mad Max: The fury road. Both being based off hit classics, 2015 was a year of reminisce when it came to films.
Mad Max: Fury Road
What made the movie such a success, was the release of the trailer; which premiered for the first time at the San Diego Comic-Con. A majority of the credit goes out to the public for making the trailer go viral, which was probably all apart of the marketing director's plans; they released the movie, at a comic-con, full of adults who were there for an occurrence of the movie team reuniting. Personally, I've never seen the movie but I can understand the excitement of fans as their favorite childhood movie was coming out with a sequel, decades later.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Star Wars had a similar situation, big movie with a rich plot-line that was making a come back. Only difference is that Star Wars, now being owned by Disney, had a huge marketing advantage. Kudos to the Disney executive team for all the effort they put in. All the work paid off, because now the box offices are bringing home the bacon. Currently on the average weekday they get $8 million.
