Report Cards & Access to Grades

The first quarter ended on October 30th. Report cards were sent out last week week and should be arriving at your home soon. All grades are viewable online at anytime via the PowerSchool Gradebook. Additionally, you can schedule weekly progress reports to be emailed to you. Once you set up the emails, you will never need to log in. The Granville Academy website, found here, has resources for parent and student access to PowerSchool Gradebook and includes information to set up for progress reports.

Please feel free to contact a member of the GA team for assistance.

PTA: Feed the Piggies

Granville Academy had our first PTA meeting on October 25! The PTA is planning a fundraiser that will begin on November 5th and end on November 20 with the culminating activity of Dr. Wrenn kissing a pig or actually pigs! Students will bring in spare change to be collected in each classroom to raise the registration fees for K-12 Science Olympiad teams. Please be on the lookout for the cutest piggy banks in the classrooms to collect change and help us "feed the piggies".

Granville Academy would also like to thank each and every supporter of our Pirates. We are so lucky to have the family involvement and great school culture!

Groups and Discussion Boards

Granville Academy has set up a virtual collaborative space for GA families in grade spans K-5, 6-8 and 9-12. Invitations were sent to participate in the web forums. This space will provide the opportunity for families to collaborate online. Please note that Google email addresses have different capabilities on a Google Group. If you do not have a gmail account, you will still be able to view all communication. Every group member receives emails from the discussion board that they belong in.

If you did not receive an invitation, please feel free to reach out to GranvilleAcademy@gcs.k12.nc.us and include an email address of your preference.

GA T-shirts and Hoodies

Granville Academy T-Shirts and Hoodies are available for purchase! All T-Shirts and hoodies are gray with the pirate logo. The order form is located below and by clicking HERE .
