Howdy, Wildcats!
We had a great time talking to 7th graders about their course requests for next year! We've been told some students have even started turning their sheets in! Sheets are due by Monday, January 30th. We can't wait to see the classes students are looking forward to taking next year!
Remember to have courage and be kind!

VISON 2030: STUDENT SCORECARD
Did you know that, as part of Mansfield ISD's Vision 2030, your student has a personalized scorecard to track their life, college and career readiness? We will be working with students throughout the year to make them aware of their scorecard and to work toward accomplishing goals with them. You can view your student's scorecard through their Edugence account or you can view a general scorecard by clicking HERE.
Safety Protocols
Front Office Screening
All visitors are required to present their government-issued identification when arriving at Wester. Upon ringing the bell at the front door, you will be asked to present your ID, state your business for entering the building, and then asked your student's name. Please be patient with us as we work to keep Brooks Wester’s safety a top priority!
Student IDs Required for Students Every Day
Students will be required to wear their student IDs at all times during the school day. Any student who does not bring their ID with them will have to get a new one from the fron office for $5. As always, their first ID for the year will be free.
No Food Delivery Service Will Be Accepted
Mansfield ISD has made the decision that no food delivery service will be allowed on any campus. Students will not be allowed to used service such as Uber Eats, Doordash, or Grubhub. The rationale behind this decision is to limit building access to any individual who does not need to be on campus. Any delivery ordered through any of these services will be turned away at the front door. Parents/family members, notated in Skyward, are always welcome to deliver food for their students. We will ask that the parents/family members take the food to the cafeteria.
Exterior Door Safety
It is against school policy to open any door for any person at all during the school day. Whether it is an adult or student, no one should open an exterior door to allow a person to enter. Additionally, it is also against school policy to knock on a door to get someone to open the door to let them in. All students must enter through the front main entrance if they are a walker or car rider or the side gym entrance if they are a bus rider.
