FPCS TIDBITS
March 3, 2017
Working together with families in a partnership of teachers, staff and community members to provide an individualized learning environment that fosters high achievement in core and elective areas; preparing students for life-long success.
Families are encouraged to fund expenses related to courses in your ILP only as needed for the current school year. Those students re-enrolling for the 2017-18 school year will have any unexpended allotments from this year rolled over and available for use once the re-enrollment process is completed starting June 1st.
It is highly recommended that you do not wait til the last minute to allocate funds as budgets will be locked as scheduled (4:00 p.m. AKT).

PEAKS STATE ASSESSMENT
It's spring and that means State Assessments are coming. We recognize that it takes a lot of effort to coordinate schedules and we do appreciate your efforts to get your students to the testing site (ASD Ed. Center on Northern Lights Blvd.). Family Partnership would love to see our participation rates for the State Mandated Assessment (PEAKS) above 95% this year.
In recognition of your efforts to help us put our best foot forward, FPCS will be offering a $200.00 allotment increase to students in grades 3-10 who participate in the all sections of the PEAKS assessment for their grade level for the 2017/18 school year. This will apply only to currently enrolled FPCS students who participate in the assessment. The $200.00 increase will be added to your student's 2017/18 allotment upon re-enrollment.
Your sponsor teacher should be reaching out to you in the next few days to sign your students up for test sessions.
