Middle School Moments
March 19, 2020
From the Desk of Mrs. McCoy
MAKE.US.ONE!
I stand amazed at the kindness of God and the details of our life that HE is involved in. When our school theme for this 2019-2020 school year was chosen last spring, we had NO idea what this spring would hold. But God did! Here we are on day 3 of students not being in the building. COVID-19 has changed everything! Our students, families, teachers, and staff are pulling together to make this unprecedented event do-able for our students. I am so grateful for that!
As I read Psalm 139 this morning, I am reminded that God is:
Able - He will walk before us, with us and beside us
Faithful - He will never leave us
Gracious - He cared about every need
Powerful - He is mighty to save us and holds us in HIS hands
Worthy - He deserves our praise every day and through this time too
Would you join me in praising God for HIS mercies to us?
Until we are back together, I am praying for you and your family.
Stay safe.

COVID-19 Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly should I be doing daily to help my family to stay virus free?
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
What should I do if I find out I have been in the same room with someone who found out he/she had COVID-19?
CDC recommends that post-exposure public health management for asymptomatic exposed individuals continue until 14 days after the last potential exposure; however, these decisions should be made based on the local situation, available resources, and competing priorities.
