Newsletter Term 4 Week 7

Patumahoe School 30th November 2022

Kia ora,

The weeks are certainly flying by and before we know it the end of the year will be upon us. Life here at school is as busy as ever.

It was a privilege to be part of our whaanau hui last Thursday afternoon. The hui was an amazing opportunity to reconnect with many of our whaanau after the challenges of the last couple of years. Many thanks to those who were able to come along and share their thoughts with us. We will send a copy of our survey out electronically in the coming days.

Our Zone athletes finally got the opportunity to compete last Friday after the weather called for the event to be postponed. As always our athletes demonstrated the values of Patumahoe School and showed real grit and determination in their events.

Tomorrow our Year 6 students set off on their City camp, a highly anticipated event on our school calendar. Thanks to Pelorus Trust for their support of this activity, and to those parents joining the students.

The recent bad weather has delayed the completion of our Senior playground. The children are waiting patiently for the final pieces of play apparatus to be installed, so they can try it all out!

FInally, please keep your eye on the upcoming dates section of the newsletter, we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at these events.

This week's assembly will be hosted by Room 1, 2 & 5 starting at 1.50pm (please note room change from last week). All welcome. Next week's assembly will be hosted by Rooms 10, 11 & 12.
