We Miss You
We wanted to send a message of thanks, encouragement, and hope. The health and safety of our school community is always our priority, yet during a time like this, the distance and closure causes us heavy hearts and missing you greatly. While it is hard to be closed, we feel the strength of our community. Together we are finding new routines and unrealized strength. We are learning together and finding new ways to connect and bring us closer. We are grateful that our together is with you.
One thing that makes Olivia Park exceptional is our dedicated, compassionate, and talented staff. They have been working hard to learn a new way of teaching and supporting our kids. It is critical that you are in regular contact with your child’s teacher. We may not be learning at school, but learning will continue. School is on and open for learning. Our teachers have launched their virtual learning communities and are eager and ready to have all their students together, learning and growing.
Today and every day, our students amaze us. You, Olivia Park Polar Bears, are capable of extraordinary things. During these challenging times, we continue to be one amazing school community who are stronger together. If you or someone you know needs something, please reach out to us. We are here for you. Let’s let compassion and perseverance continue to lead us, together, as we continue to make our community the VERY best place to be.
Warmly,
Mrs. Pence & Ms. Harris

Communicating with Us: We may not be at school, but we are still here!
Communicating with teachers:
- The best way to reach your child's teacher is by email. Teachers are checking their email daily and available to answer your questions and support you and your family.
- Don't have email? Make sure you are answering blocked calls, as they are likely your child's teacher or the school trying to get in contact with you.
- Our teachers are using Google Classroom as their platform for distant learning and have provided families with information on how to access their virtual classroom. Please make sure your child is enrolled in their classroom and accessing their lessons. If you have not heard from your child's teacher or have not be able to access their google classroom, email the teacher or call the office.
Contacting the school: If you need to contact someone at school because you don't have email or you need support, you can still call our main office at 425-366-3300 and leave a voicemail. Our office team is checking voicemails daily and responding to your messages. Please make sure you leave a detailed message and the best method for contacting you.

Olivia Park PTA was excited to bring The Reptile Man to our school in February. Our students and families had a great time seeing all of the animals!
Events like these are possible because of all of the hard work our families do to help us fundraise each year. Unfortunately this years Fun Run was slated to happen at the beginning of May, and we will not be able to hold this event due to social distancing requirements. Please be on the look out for how you can help grow our PTA for the 2020-2021 school year. We will be sending out an email to all of our current members to explain all of the ways that you can get involved! If you are not a current member and would like to receive this information, please contact us at oliviaparkpta@gmail.com. Olivia Park PTA believes in POLAR BEAR STRONG! We love our community and are here to partner with you to meet the needs of our families. If there is any way that we can help you during this time, please reach out to us at oliviaparkpta@gmail.com. We look forward to putting on more great events next year!
2020-2021 Kindergarten Registration
Do you have a child who will be at least 5 years old by August 31, 2020?
Registration for kindergarten classes in the 2020-21 school year began Monday, March 2, 2020. Due to the current school closures, schools have been unable to distribute and collect enrollment packets; however, the district is working on a process that will allow for registrations to continue again.
Many elementary schools will have their own kindergarten programs. Some students will attend Pathfinder Kindergarten Center, located behind Fairmount Elementary on Beverly Park Road, based on their home address.
Visit the district kindergarten registration webpage to learn which school your child will attend and how to register them.
