PTO Update

Dear BTMS Parents,

It's a busy Fall for BTMS and the PTO! Thanks for your continued support and for reading all of our emails! Here are some things you need to know:

BTMS Merchandise: due 10/9

Merchandise forms went home with students this week! If you need another form, they are available at the front desk of the school or by clicking here: PTO Merchandise Form The orders are due by October 9th. **Sizes available are: AS, AM, AL, AXL, AXXL, YS, YM, YL, YXL

Eat and Run at the Trail Vendor Sale: reserve your spot ASAP

On Friday, 10/23, from 5:00-8:00 PM, we will host a vendor sale as part of Eat and Run at the Trail. If you are a BTMS parent and would like to purchase a vendor booth, we still have a few available! The cost is $25 + one item (minimum $5 value) donated the silent auction. We expect to have several hundred people in attendance, so this is a great opportunity to sell some things and market your business. Turn in the form and payment to reserve your spot! If we still have booths available after 9/30, we will open it up to the public.

Pasta Dinner Forms: due 10/9

Purple dinner reservation forms are going home with students this week. Make note that the pasta dinner on Friday, 10/23 will be FREE!! Pasta is being donated by Mueller's and the sauces will be prepared by Danny's Pizza and Pasta. Dinner order forms are due by Friday, 10/9. Eat and Run at the Trail 5k and 1-mile Fun Run: register by 10/2 for only $20 and to guarantee a race shirt

Runners and walkers are invited!! This race is open to the community, so invite friends, neighbors, family, and co-workers! Our goal is to have 400+ registered runners at this year's race. Wanna see Mr. Pratt run the race in a tu-tu? Mr. Pyrc and Ms. Jones whip and nae-nae? Mr. Pratt sleep on the roof of the school?!?

We have some fun contests going on around the Eat and Run at the Trail event.

  • The grade level with the highest percentage participation will win a frozen treat (Kona Ice or Pelican's Snoballs) at blacktop! When students turn in a dinner form or register for the race, their names go up on the cafeteria wall. Which grade will pull out the win this year??
  • Mr. Pratt, Mr. Pyrc, and Ms. Jones are willing to sacrifice their dignity for the sake of supporting Banks Trail! They're ready to put on their dancing shoes, and Mr. Pratt is prepared to pucker up, pitch a tent, and wear a tu-tu based on the number of registered runners we have: 300, 350, 400, or 450. We can do it!! Tell everyone you know to come out and run/walk!

BoxTops: due 10/22

Keep on sending in those BoxTops! Please send clipped Boxtops in a Ziploc bag to your child's homeroom teacher by 10/22. Make sure to check expiration dates! Winning homerooms from each grade will win a hot dog lunch outside and the teacher will win a gift card.
