Interview with Captain Jocelyn Mann
Question 1: You were selected as a captain this fall, how did that make you feel?
"Being a captain comes with a certain level of responsibility, which is something that I appreciate. I like that my teammates respect me and think highly of me enough to nominate me for this position, and I hope to make them proud.
Question 2: What is one accomlishment that the team has achieved thus far in the season that you are proud of?
"We just won the Community Cup Trophy this past Saturday which was an incredible experience to be a part of. Not only was this the first ever trophy game between Humboldt and Washington, but we were able to win the game in front of 250 people; one of the largest crowds ever for a Humboldt soccer game".
Question 3: What is one thing you are looking forward to for this season?
"One thing I know both the girls and boys team is looking forward to is playing in Allianz field. It's the first time a high school game will be held there, and it will be an incredible feeling to play on one of the nicest fields in the country".
