Community College Promise Scholars Program - Apply Now!!!
San Mateo County Community College District's Promise Scholars Program (PSP) helps students earn certificates and associate's degrees within three years by providing comprehensive financial, counseling, and academic support. Students receive dedicated academic counseling, personalized career development, tutoring, enrollment fee waivers, textbook assistance, and transportation assistance to support their enrollment, completion, and transfer/career goals.
PSP also provides special class scheduling options such as blocked classes during convenient times and classes with other PSP students. As students approach graduation, they receive personalized assistance to help them transfer to a 4-year college or transition into the workforce. If you're thinking of attending CaƱada College, College of San Mateo, or Skyline College, the Promise Scholars Program could be right for you!

Students felt that the workshops were relevant as they equipped them with tools and resources for the Next Steps. One student commented, Thank you for all the hard work! I learned a lot of new things that I can apply to future opportunities; the programs were very engaging.

Terra Nova Theater Department is Back!
Nova! Where Stars are Born. Terra Nova Arts were proud to present Nova, a Spring Arts Show of Monologues, Songs, Music, and Dance, last weekend in the Terra Nova Theater. Mr. Schneider and his students did an amazing job producing this production. The students gave an outstanding performance and were happy to be back on stage!
Business Pathway & FBLA at Westmoor
Westmoor High School FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) members, along with advisor Mr. Ben Pham, participated in the California State Leadership Conference with over 1,500 student members in attendance. During this event, 66 California FBLA school chapters competed in business and information technology events. Westmoor students performed exceptionally well with several students who qualified for the National Leadership Conference in Chicago this summer. sectors offer great benefits and opportunities for advancement.
Learn more about these career opportunities in our 5-week (35
hours/week) summer program at Laney College in Oakland.
Students completing this program will be prepared for entry
level positions and continuation into community college skilled
trades classes.
