MRS. DETTMER'S NOTES
This has been an amazing week back from break! I have loved seeing the 4th grade projects, hearing about break both the staycations and vacations, and just enjoying seeing the learning taking place in all of the rooms.
We have a busy quarter left in this school year. The Rockcreek Choir will present The Jungle Book on Wednesday, April 3rd. Do you have a choir member or know of one? You can wish them good luck by sending a "shout out" to them in the program. If you know of a local business interested in advertising in the program this donation will help with our future programs.
We are beginning to prepare for Field Day. This is always a fun and exciting day for students, staff, parents, and community members. We will hold Field Day the Tuesday after Memorial Day.
IREAD testing completed this week. Reports were sent home with students. I was very impressed with all of their hard work. We will continue working to grow our brains through the end of the school year and show our knowledge on ILearn in April.

Note From Nurse
As a reminder, please keep your child home for 24 hours if they are experiencing fever, vomit, or diarrhea. As with any illness the best defense is to keep up with good hand hygiene, keeping distance from those who are ill, and covering coughs and sneezes. The upcoming months typically bring the most illness, let’s try to keep our kids and our school healthy! Please contact the nurse, Mrs. Barker, with any questions or concerns.
Quick Facts
How can you help Rockcreek? - Coca-Cola and Office Depot
Dear Parents,
We’re excited to share that our school is part of the Coca-Cola Give program. This opens up Rockcreek to new funding opportunities to help improve learning environments for students.
The best part? Donations don’t come out of your own pocket. When you make Coca-Cola purchases, you simply enter the product codes here: https://us.coca-cola.com/give/schools/ and our school receives a donation.
Help Rockcreek make the most of this program and learn more at Coke.com/give.
