The American Revolution has been a long thought out and hectic time in our history. I served in the Second Continental Congress. I also help draft the Declaration of Independence in 1776. I also negotiated the 1783 Treaty of Paris that ended the Revolutionary war. In 1787, I was delegate to the convention that produced the U.S. Constitution.
In June 1775, Congress ordered me to take command of the Continental Army besieging the British in Boston. However being a little inexperienced I proved to be capable and resilient leader for the American Military forces during the war. We lost many battles but I developed a winning strategy that included signal victories at the Battle of Trenton in 1776 and Yorktown in 1781.
