IMPORTANT INFORMATION

PSST World is an online tool in which students can anonymously report instances of bullying, harassment, or any dangerous behavior (i.e., vaping, self-harm, etc.) that are happening on campus or during school-sponsored activities. If you student sees something that concerns him/her, please have them complete the anonymous form. Administrators are notified when an anonymous tip comes in through PSST, and all tips are investigated. (There is a permanent link on our website.)


National Honors Society Applications are now available before school and during lunch in Room 505. Applications are due on September 21st.

GRADING PERIOD INFORMATION

The first quarter runs until TODAY, Friday, September 7th, and Progress Reports will be mailed home the following week.


Keep midterms in mind - they are October 11th and 12th. We will have half days, and students will have two 2-hour exam periods each day.

COUNSELING INFORMATION

  • Check the Career Center wall for scholarship opportunities
  • PLUS Forum: September 18 from 7:30 - 11:00 am - Print your permission slip from the Counseling page of our website and return it to counseling
  • College visits are now being scheduled. Check the counseling web page, and sign up to meet with admissions counselors
  • The Career Center will be open on a limited basis. Check weekly for Ms. Su's schedule.
  • Sophomores: Wavepact field trip to CSUSM on October 4th
  • VUSD/Cal-SOAP Cash4College at Vista HS, Saturday October 13 from 9-noon
