The Wolf Howl
Week of 4/15/16
Summer Professional Reading
However, reading professional books and articles is an important part of being a life long learner. You should work to develop your professional libraries and to read current journals and books. Pick a topic of interest and spend the summer exploring! I currently have seven books on my reading stack - all of them addressing how to more effectively teach children of all ethnicities. I am super excited to get started on this topic that intrigues me so much!
As we go one to one, here are some great suggestions for summer reading that would be good additions to your personal library:

Wolf Howls
Sarah G. howls for Alex Fingers, Brook Teeter, Nikki Leonard, Amy Dietrich, and Billy Krause for doing a great job managing a student crisis on the field trip! An addendum howl for Stephanie Rumbelow, Shavonia Finley and David Couras for keeping the rest of the kids calm and supervised while they were taking care of the crisis. Everyone did a great job coming together to take care of our Wolves!
Lisa D. gives a Honorable howl to Lisa Smith for a wonderful, smooth, organized National Junior Honor Society induction ceremony. There were many positive parent comments that evening!
Brooke gives a Huge howlll to Nikki Leonard, Billy Krause, Alex Fingers, Vicky Abeyta, Stephanie Rumbelow, Sarah Garrison, Dave Couras, and Shavonia Finley for chaperoning our field trip to the Bush Museum. The kids had a blast!
Lisa Smith gives a gigantic wolf howl to Lyndee Carter for assisting with the NJHS induction ceremony on Tuesday evening. She did a wonderful job! Lisa would also like to give a great big wolf howl to Karen Moxley for the use of her tablecloths and offer to help with the induction ceremony should the extra help be needed.
Brook howls a big Thank you to Jaime LeRoy for the coasters. She absolutely loves her Harry Potter theme and her attention to detail with the Luna Lovegood quote!
Kristi W. gives a big howl to Bridget for coming through for her on more than one occasion. No matter how weird, complicated, or time consuming the job is she has gotten it done. Kristi really appreciates that!
Lisa D. howls for all of Jaime's hard work on each person's personalized coaster! She loves looking at her grandchildren every day on her coaster!
Lisa D. howls for Sherri and Elizabeth for coaching all season and accompanying our math/science teams as they go to San Antonio this weekend! Good luck!
Lisa D. gives a howl to Karen for all her hard work planning the FPS trip and for accompanying our teams in San Marcos! Best of luck at state!
