The presentation of Partners for Safe Teen Driving will be held on Thursday, November 14 at 7:00 pm in the middle school auditorium. All students enrolled in 10th grade HPE 10 or any student who did not attend last semester or last year should attend with a parent or guardian. You must be on time and you must stay for the entire presentation. The next presentation will be in the Spring. Doors will close promptly at 7:00 PM.

Naviance Access:
All MPHS students have access to the college and career planning website, Naviance. In order to log in, please visit https://student.naviance.com/manassasph. Students can login with their username which is last name+first initial and the last two digits of the graduation year. Their password is their 101 or testing number, which can be found in PowerSchool. If you have any questions, please contact your child's school counselor.
Winter tryouts start on November 11. In order to tryout on the first day, athletes must have a physical turned in and the online registration complete (https://manassaspark-ar.rschooltoday.com/). If you have any questions, please contact the coach or Mr. Forgas at dan.forgas@mpark.net.
Updates from School Counseling:
Senior portrait make-up date is 11/13 from 2:30-8:30pm. Announcements have been mailed to students who did not have their picture taken in August or September. Seniors who had their portraits taken and would like a retake, must contact Lifetouch (please see your school counselor for the number) to schedule an appointment.
- The PSAT 9 will be given on Saturday, 11/16 in the high school gym. Students must sign-up in the School Counseling no later than November 13th. Additional information is available on the high school website.
- Scott Miller from Jostens will be at the high school on 11/22 during all lunches to take orders for caps/gowns and other senior items. Please note: The last day to order online and receive the group discount is 12/13/19. The only item seniors are required to purchase is the cap and gown.
Apple Federal Credit Union is offering scholarships to seniors who plan to attend a four year college or university OR a community college. Check out the information at AFCUFoundation.org.

A public hearing on this proposal will be held during the regular School Board meeting on November 18 at 6:59pm. All are welcome to attend both meetings and to make comment at the hearing.
