A Message from Dr. Stone
Hello Timberwolf Nation!
It was another great week at WoodCreek! In order to maximize our instructional time we are going to make some changes to our bell schedule. We will be adding 10 minutes to 1st period and moving Advisory to the end of the day. Simply put, we will flip 7th and 8th periods and have changed the times to reflect this. The new bell schedule will begin on Monday, September 17th.
A link to the new bell schedule is below. Hope everyone has a great week!

Where Do Students Enter in the Morning?
All doors in the back of the building are locked at 8:10. Please do not drop off students in the back of the building after 8:10 as the doors are locked.
Hopefully this helps you to know when and where to drop off your child in the morning.
I am a student...
...with no activities to go to in the am arriving between 7:45 a.m. - 8:10 a.m.
They should be dropped off in the back and enter through the cafeteria doors and wait in the cafeteria until they are released to go to class.

...who is going to the Testing Center at 7:30 a.m.
They should be dropped off in the back and go directly to T-13 near the LGI doors. No entry into the building is necessary for Testing Center. Students will not be allowed in the Testing Center after 7:35 a.m. in order to maintain a proper testing environment.
...who is going to Detention at 7:30 a.m.
They will enter through the LGI doors in the back of the building where the detention monitor will let them in. These doors are locked so it is important that the student is there on time and waits for the detention monitor to open the door. Any student that is late, should go to the cafeteria doors in the back and wait in the cafeteria until they are released to class.
A student who is attending a club meeting or activity before school.
Directions as to when they meet, what time they meet, and where they enter will be communicated by the Club Activity Sponsor.
Hope this helps!!

Legacy Parent Meeting
The Legacy Parent Academy is a new initiative designed to support Strategic Plan Goal 8, which focuses on supporting the emotional well-being of all learners. The Academy is intended to provide parents with information on current topics that impact students and schools district-wide. Academy sessions are supplemental to campus-based programs and initiatives, selected based on expressed need, in response to concerns that we see on our campuses and in our community.
The first session, “Emotional Well-being and Referral Processes,” is scheduled for Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at Legacy Stadium from 6:00PM-8:00PM, with capacity for 325 attendees. This is the first of eleven Legacy Parent Academy sessions planned for the 2018-2019 school year. Five of the academy sessions focus on social-emotional learning topics and six focus on academic topics.
