June 3, 2022 - Community Newsletter
MRMS Families,
This week wrapped up the official spring season for our student athletes. Congratulations to all the students and staff who put in the countless hours to make this season a great success. Sports play such an important role in the lives of student athletes in increasing student connection to the school community and serve as a reminder to meet the academic and behavioral expectations to be able to represent MRMS as we challenge various opposing teams. I truly appreciate the dedication and am so proud of you all!
In Partnership,
Adam O'Shea
Principal
Shout Out to Student Leadership Group!
This year at MRMS, we shifted out student leadership model from an election based student council, to an application based student leadership group. In this new model we had roughly 40 student leaders meeting weekly throughout the year. Ms. Allen, Ms. Botsford, and Ms. Dudley are so proud of all the student leaders, and so appreciative of all the work we did to give back to the school and larger community. From planning special events, hosting fundraisers, and providing service to the community, these students proved to be phenomenal. We can't wait to continue this tradition with the group in the 2022-23 school year! You can see pictures of the group below.
