OUR MISSION is to cultivate a positive community of engaged critical thinkers.
OUR VISION is for all students to access high quality curriculum, engaging instructional activities, and a supportive learning environment,
WE ARE COMMITTED to closing the gap for our students who are below grade level while still ensuring that every student makes continuous growth each year.
REMINDERS FOR THIS WEEK:
- 6th grade science camp is this week! Students head out first thing Monday morning. Please refer to below for updates. 6th graders who are not attending camp will resume regular instruction.
- Reminder: 8th grader expectations for promotion are in effect this semester.
- Students need to use either the front or side gates when entering the campus in the morning. Please do not drop your child off in the staff parking lot.
- If you have not already, please review with your student our dress code and student handbook. After school detention will be assigned to students who violate school rules. We appreciate your support in keeping our campus safe and positive!
6th Grade Science Camp
Attention 6th grade Science campers,
Due to the rain/snow, check in and travel will be different.
Please refer to the following updates:
- Door to the MPR will be open at 7:45
- Pack light and tight. Smaller suitcases or duffle bags would be best.
- Roll your sleeping bag very tight. Wrap the plastic bag around it as tight as possible.
- We can’t take a luggage truck because of the snow so we will have to pack the buses. We will need a lot of help packing inside as well as under the bus.
- When you arrive, line up under the covering and please be patient. We have a lot of things to process.
- Don't forget your donation for our "Starburst Awards."
- Looking forward to a great week at camp.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Mr. Clay at mclay@nlmusd.org.
We look forward to having a wonderful time at 6th Grade Science Camp.
