4. On the left side of the webpage you will find the links for everything the program has to offer including the ACT Prep Content, ACT Fundamentals Prep Content, and SAT Prep Content.
5. We will focus on the ACT Prep Content section.
The ACT Prep Content is a 12-video series covering all parts of the assessment. It is designed for those students who desire to raise their composite score to obtain higher scholarships.
The ACT Fundamentals Prep Content is an 8-video series designed for students who have an initial score in the teens and desires to raise it to at least a 20.
6. Under “ACT Prep Content” go to “ACT Course Materials”
Under this section you will find the Course Curriculum, English Passages Packet, complete practice tests, as well as other helpful links.
Each document can be downloaded and printed from this section.
7. Under “ACT Prep Content” go to “ACT Prep Sessions”
It is recommended students go through the 12-videos in order as well as complete each homework assignment and quiz.
Students may focus on only the sections they feel they need to improve in the most if time is a constraint.
8. Under “ACT Prep Content” notice there are “Additional Prep” videos for each content area
These sections are highly recommended for students who need to focus more in one or two content areas
9. Students who take the ACT Prep Elective at Decatur High School will go through the entire program in class. However, one of the selling points is any of our students can do any of the sections whenever they want as many times as they want!
