Elementary Students Return to School
While there has been a lot of discussion about students returning to school in GUSD, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health has only allowed this for Elementary Schools. Middle School has not been given permission to bring students back. We are looking at ways to provide some in-person opportunities, such as athletic conditioning and specialized programs in the fourth quarter. We will provide families with further information later in the month of March but please see the information on Athletic Conditioning below.
Athletic Conditioning
As the COVID cases continue to decline, we have been allowed to start the process of having students come on campus for athletic conditioning, clubs, and other enriching events for our students. We will have to follow guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our students and staff and that means that we need to start by determining interest. If your child is interested in participating in after-school athletics at Roosevelt, please complete this Google Form so that we can determine what needs to be done to bring back students to campus. This will be for the fourth quarter of school after spring break. The deadline to complete this form is Sunday, March 7th.
Click here for the Google Form to show interest.
CalFresh Produce Distribution at Cerritos Elementary
