Why Is He Famous?

Oskar was part of the Nazi party in the Holocaust and while being a Nazi Oskar saw the camps and the way the Jews were treated first hand. He decided that what the Nazis were doing to the Jewish people wasn't right and took a stand.

How Did He Help?

Oskar made a factory that made defective bullets for German guns. All the workers in his factory were Jewish people. But in his camp they were treated with respect. When the war ended Oskar fled to Argentina. Oskar saved around 1,200 Jews and was one of the most famous "Righteous Among the Nations"
