NC Middle School Update
Important Highlights for Northern Cambria Middle School.
Safe Choices Assesmbly
Community Guidance Safe Choices Assembly:
This was a planned assembly to target students to make good choices and make them aware of the dangers of drugs. Scott & Josh from Community Guidance were able to give valuable information to students.
Rusty and Drug Dog Keto stopped by and did a sweep of the school. We continually thank our Police Force for helping to keep our community safe.

Please see the following information to purchase insurance for your student's Chromebook.
Click here for a link for the insurance.
Important reminders
Please remind your child to charge their Chromebook each night. Chargers are not permitted at the school. Charging carts are available in the lunch room for students to use during their lunch if needed.
If your child is having issues with their Chromebook they should report to the library in the morning.
PBIS Reward Day
For every check a student has they will be held for 20 minutes of the reward activity. There will be an extra learning opportunity room where students with missing work can go for extra assistance.
Thanks to our wonderful staff for the planning of this great event each month.
Student Recognition: Avery Shutty & Izzy McCabe
I'd like to recognize two great students who have started an initiative for our community. Avery Shutty and Izzy McCabe were inspired at Recycling Club to help pick up trash around the school. They started a student sign ups and we had as many as 30 students take the initiative to help pick up trash around the school on a Friday night.
P.E. teacher and Recycling Club leader KJ Getz graciously offered her time to supervise this event.
Thanks to all who continually work to make NC a great place!
PTO Bookfair & Fundraiser
All next week students will have the opportunity to attend the book fair! Flyers were sent home!
PTO fundraisers are due tomorrow!
