Dear Parents,
We are down to the last three days! I know your children are looking forward to the summer break! They have worked and played hard, made many close friends, learned how to solve problems alone, and together with others. I am so proud of them and how they are growing up and becoming independent.
I think back to my own kids, when they were little, and it amazes me at how fast the time flies. Before you know it they are heading off to college. I am so very happy that I had a chance to know you and your sweet children this year. I will miss them so much. Being with them all day really makes it feel as if they are my own, and I love them so much!
I want to tell you that you are doing a great job! I am so encouraged by the acceptance and love they have for each other. The compassion and caring they have is evident daily. This is because of you, the time and hard work you put in every day, even when you are exhausted because you know this is the most important job of your lives.
I want to thank you again for the many cards and gifts and support you gave me this year. It means so much to me. I have enjoyed the year and I hate to see it end!
Love always,
Mrs. Del Villar
