Terrific 3rd Graders by Jennifer Emerson
Where did the time go? It is hard to believe we are already nearing the end of 2016! Our terrific third grade teachers have really made an impact! Much thanks also goes out to all of the volunteers that have spent their time assisting our terrific third graders thus far in the school year, look for more opportunities in 2017!
For our art classes, there are a few items that could be used for some really cool art concoctions! If you have any of the items below and would like to donate them to the art class, please send in with your child labeled for Mrs Krengel – Art. Items that are needed include: white paper plates (non-waxy and any size), newspapers, rags, old towels and washcloths, new kitchen sponges, dish soap, hand wipes, paper towel tubes or wrapping paper tubes, glue sticks, rubber cement, flour, salt, large aluminum roasting or cooking pans, aluminum foil, wax paper, liquid starch, alum (the spice). Thank-you!
Enjoy your break and stay warm! See you around Copeland in 2017!
Fantastic 5th Graders by Lesli Morisak
We would like to extend a great big thank you to all the parents who helped out to make the field trip and luncheon a success! It took a lot of volunteers to get everything decorated and prepared for the luncheon. The surprised looks on the kids’ faces when they walked into the cafeteria made all the effort worth it. It was fabulous. It was such a fun day that was made possible by all the wonderful volunteers!
Also, a big thank you to all the volunteers who helped with line reading and prep work for the 5th grade play! The kids were so proud of themselves and it was a huge success.
Lastly, don't forget the class parties will be on December 16th at 10:45; if you signed up to donate an item please send it with your child in the morning to help with prepping for the parties!
Happy Holidays to you all. Enjoy the vacation with your loved ones. See you next year!
