We are ROARing in March.
We are taking our students to the next level in education and are all in this together. Ensure that our scholars read every night at home and practice their math facts.

Families, please sign up for Career Day on May 5, 2023. Also, do not forget to cop a coup. Sell a box of chocolate for our school fundraiser.

Chuck E. Cheese PTO Fun Night
Worlds Finest Chocolate-Fundraiser has now begun.
Your student will need a signed permission slip to check out a box of chocolate to sell. If you would like to get multiple boxes please come to the school to pick them up. Money orders or cash only, no personal checks.
Please do not leave the chocolate in your car, as even thought it is still chilly it will melt inside the car.
New Sign In procedures
If you arrive after the bell, we have a new way to sign into school. You will need your student's ID number and log in password for Synergy, or their student ID badge. Each student has been given an ID badge with the exception of new enrollments. Your student should keep their badge in their book bag when coming to and from school.

Read a Thon
Would your family like an all-expense paid trip to Walt Disney Theme Park? We would love to send you.
Gale-Bailey Elementary School is about to start a Read-a-thon Fundraiser. It is a fun and exciting way for your child to raise money while reading.
As an added incentive, any child that sends 10 text messages through their dashboard to promote our fundraiser will automatically be registered in a nationwide drawing for the Walt Disney Theme Park trip.
*One winner will be chosen each season out of all Read-a-thons held during that season.

Lunch Time
Parents are welcome to come join their students for lunch. We have a special table waiting just for you; you will need your ID to sign in and wear a visitor's sticker. Please note this is not the schedule for early dismissal days.

Friendly Reminder
Please remember that during the afternoon pick-up, family members are expected to park their car and walk to the parent pick-up line with an ID. This is a way that we keep our scholars safe.
Ice Cream on Friday!!!
The Gale-Bailey cafeteria will be selling ice cream every Friday at lunchtime. You must have cash. The price is $0.75, September 30th.

Attendance and Notes
Regular attendance is critical to your child’s education. Conversely, disruptions to your child’s school attendance can significantly impact their academic performance.
Scholars should attend school consistently and be absent only for illness or emergencies. Please refrain from scheduling extended family vacations during school time.
Please provide Ms.L. Jones (limjones@ccboe.com) with a note from your physician releasing your child to return to school. Please ensure all notes have your child's first and last name and date for the excused absence.
