HALLOWEEN
PARADE
Weather permitting, the parade will begin at approximately 3:40pm. Spectators may line the basketball court to watch. After the parade all students will return to their classrooms and will follow our regular dismissal routine.
If you are picking your child up from school, please get in the parent pick up line. We will not be dismissing students directly from the parade or from the office after the parade has concluded.
COSTUMES
1. Costumes must be child friendly and school appropriate. Gory, bloody, and scary costumes or accessories are not permitted.
2. Absolutely no weapons or replicas of weapons are allowed at school.
3. While we understand that makeup or face paint are often part of a costume, it may not be worn to or applied at school.
4. Please make sure that your child knows how to put their costume on themselves - over the clothing they wear to school that day.
5. Lastly, we understand and respect that everyone may not feel comfortable with costumes and/or participating. Feel free to choose the level of participation that meets your child's need.
CLASSROOM TEACHERS will communicate their specific plans for the day with you.
NO HOMEMADE FOOD of any kind should be sent to school that day. This protects students with allergies.
