Homework

Week of 1/19/16-1/22/16

Parent Tips:

**Parents: We are trying something a little different with Math groups this month. The only change you need to be aware of is that the Math section of homework may be hand written in for your child daily or weekly. Our desire in making this change is to have the children work on skills actually learned that day in class for reinforcement as opposed to a more general concept based approach. If you have any questions about this change, please do not hesitate to ask! Also to review the one minute fluency drill expectation: This should take no longer that one-minute per night to complete. For example, we have two official nights of homework this week, therefore, you will complete the 1st and 2nd try rows by the end of the week. We will complete the remaining attempts in class.

Please encourage your child to use descriptive adjectives within their writing homework this week. Thank you so much for your partnership! The students have all made tremendous growth and Miss. Abby and I are so thankful for your support!

Reminder: Mr. Mitchell has requested that everyone review the cold weather dress code. Only approved Woodward clothing is allowed. Please contact me if you have any questions.
