Last 2 Weeks!
We have so many exciting things happening in the last two weeks of school! Testing is over, we have our Spring Showcase tonight and we have many celebrations planned for next week. We hope you can be a part of all of these great things! Please check the calendar below to join us in these events!
I can't begin to put into words my gratitude for our PTA board members this year. New Prospect would be absolutely lost without their hard work and support! Thank you to Yolane Turblanche, Laura Armistead, Danielle Blum, Kerri Bracken, Alyson Coffman, Melissa Eskreis, Jennifer Gardner, Erin Goldman, Jackie Kovarovics , and Mandee Young for your amazing service to our students, staff and family over the past year! I also know that there are countless Panther Parents who have donated money and time in support of our school and my gratitude extends very far to you too! I am so lucky to lead a school with an amazing community of support!
I am so sad to see some of our amazing families leave us to move on to Webb Bridge and beyond. You have made an impact on this school and on my heart and I will miss you very much!
As for the rest of our families, I hope you have a relaxing and fun summer and I can't wait for all of the exciting things that are to come next year!
As always...with love from a very LUCKY Panther,
Amy Lemons
Principal

Art Show FAQs
Who participates? Every child that attends New Prospect will have 1 piece of artwork framed.
When and Where? The night of Spring Showcase (5/14) from 5:30-7:30 in the Gym.
Can I pay with a credit card? Unfortunately, no. We are only able to take cash and checks made payable to New Prospect.
How much is the frame? Each frame costs $25 (the artwork is free and belongs to your child).
What happens if the framed artwork is not purchased? You are under NO OBLIGATION to buy. After the show, the artwork will be taken out of the frame, mailed back to the school and sent home with your child.
How does the money raised benefit the Art studio? A portion of each frame sold, goes towards Art supplies.
Can I pre-buy the artwork? Yes, please send your payment in to your child’s teacher before the show. The artwork will be displayed during the show and I will send it home with the student the day after the show. Or you can pick it up the night of the show (it will be marked with a sold tag) and you can avoid standing in the payment line.
Can I buy the artwork after the show? Unfortunately, we cannot do any post sales because our show is so close to the end of the year.
Why do I host an Art Show? Students work hard in Art all year and are excited to showcase their best work. I host the show so students can take pride in coming to see their Art displayed.
If you would like to keep up with what is happening at the Art Studio please check out my twitter account and website. If you have questions, comments or concerns please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Thanks for your support of the Arts,
Adrianna Hopen,
Art Specialist
