Background info.

Bulgaria is a Balkan nation with diverse terrain encompassing black sea coastline, rivers, including the Danube, and a mountains interior. A cultural melting pot with Greek, Slavic, Ottoman, and Persian influences, it has a rich heritage of traditional dance, music, costumes and crafts. At the foot of domed Vitosha mountain is its capital, Sofia, dating to the 5th century B.C.E.

The tempeture will pretty much stay in the 40's or the 50's so it pretty cold.

Where do most of the people in your country live?

from 480 to 1000 people live in the mid. west of Bulgaria.

Bulgaria features notable diversity with the ranging from the Alpine snow-capped peaks in Rila, Pirin and the Balkan mountains to the mild and sunny Black Sea coast; from the typically continental Danubian Plain in the north to the strong Mediterranean climatic influence in the valleys of Macedonia and in the lowlands of southernmost parts of Thrace.

Religion and language


The main religion in Bulgaria is Bulgarian Orthodox. There are also Roman Catholics, Muslims, Protestants, Jews etc. Around twelve percent of the people are Muslim.


The official language of Bulgaria is Bulgarian. But The most significance minority languages are Turkish, spoken by 9.6% of the population, and Romani, which is spoken by 4.1% of the population.
