Currently, in Math EOG review, we are doing fraction review. You can work on https://www.prodigygame.com/ and also, in the kitchen with cooking if you are so inclined.
In ELA, students are working with the released version of the state ELA EOG. We are doing it a bit at a time, and working our test-taking strategies, practicing what works, what doesn't, and building a bit of stamina.
We have approximately 37 days until school lets out for summer and 27 days until EOG's begin. We are in desensitizing mode for our students.
Here is a picture of one of our crabs "Crabby." He went down for a molt in August and just came back up. Crabs (and other crustaceans) cannot grow in a linear fashion like most animals. Because they have a hard outer shell (the exoskeleton) that does not grow, they must shed their shells, a process called molting. Just as we outgrow our clothing, crabs outgrow their shells.Crabby came up and picked put a larger shell. The students are fascinated with his size!

Attention Parents of 4th Grade Students:
Thanks to the “Every Kid in a Park” initiative, fourth-grade students and their families can get into national parks for free. Why fourth graders? Those behind the program say research shows children ages nine to 11 are beginning to learn about the world around them. The pass is offered to fourth graders every year, so eventually, every child will get a free pass to explore our national parks, with a goal of letting them all discover wildlife, resources, and history — for free.
