Sequoia Updates
Book Fair:
Our Fall Book Fair will be open for the final day on Monday, September 11th. Big thanks to Kristin Randall and her great volunteers for hosting the Book Fair.
Pick-Up and Drop-Off:
We know that Drop-Off and Pick-Up at Sequoia can be difficult. During drop-off and pick-up please make sure to pick students up in the designated Yellow areas on the sides of the Sequoia Parking lot.
Please be considerate of our neighbors on both Campbell and Mosio Lane. Campbell Lane is a private road and not open for Sequoia pick-up. Mosio Lane is a narrow street behind the school, and families are recommended to pick-up across the street at the Senior Center parking lot.
Please help keep our students safe!
Counseling Corner
Our SMS community’s Giant heart was once again shown as students donated to the Huston Food Bank in an effort to support those affected by Hurricane Harvey. This is a student lead campaign aimed taking social responsibility to support others in need. The awareness of helping others is an important message at any middle school. At Sequoia we value teaching our student body empathy, kindness, and action. Our goal is for everyone to donate a dollar, which would give us roughly $950. When added together we can make a big difference! This campaign ends Tuesday, September 12. Bring those dollars to lunch!
A Giant “thank you” to all those who have given!
Thanks -
Mrs. Stewart and Mr. CK
