A Weekly Look at Grant Elementary School & the Grant PTA
Week of December 2, 2019
A Message From Principal Grey
Dear Grant Community,
As we head into the holiday season, our students are getting very excited about all that this time of year brings: holiday traditions, time off of school, and of course, presents! In the next few weeks, we want to encourage our students to also think about spreading the loving and giving holiday spirit to others.
One fun way we plan to do this is by presenting them with a Random Acts of Kindness countdown calendar at tomorrow's BEST assembly. We hope that it gets them thinking about all of the many ways we can celebrate this season and the importance of spreading kindness and generosity to others.
With Love,
Ms. Grey

Grant Cares, Donation Drive Underway
As the holidays approach, our Grant Community Cares Team is mindful of some of our own Grant families that could use some holiday cheer and assistance. We will be collecting items for some specific Grant families and their specific needs. This is a great way for our children to actively participate in the season of giving. Our “Giving Tree” will be set-up this week in the office. Please consider donating by taking an ornament with an item needed. Return the item with the ornament attached in the basket in the office by December 18th. Thank you for helping us bring holiday joy to our own Shamrock families in need!
