How can you be socially healthy?
Why Social Health is important
In my research I found out that if you are not socially healthy you not only are depressed you could have a chance of getting breast cancer as a young women it could cause a serious risk of death so if you don’t want to die read this flyer and you could have a lower chance of beginning unhealthy. In this flyer I will talk about how to communicate in different ways, why you need friends to be socially healthy and why you need to get involved in things
Communicating in Different Ways
Being able to communicate effectively is the most important of all life skills. Communication is simply the act of transferring information from one place to another, whether this be vocally , written using social media like Facebook, twitter or Instagram, visually or non-verbally using body language / sign language
Why You Need Friends to be Socially Healthy
There is no friendship that won’t have its ups and downs. Here are some insights to help you understand the tough stuff and help you decide what to do.
Most children experience normal social pain. “There is a difference between normal social pain and children who are at serious risk,”
“Normal social pain is the sadness, anger, and jealousy that friendship brings. It’s the hurt feeling upon being left out. It’s the pain when your best friend finds another best friend. It’s the pain of occasional teasing. It’s when your child comes and says ‘everyone was mean at school.’ It’s the nervous stomach ache at the start of a school year. But it doesn’t persist every single day.”
Get Involved in things
One advantage of belonging to a society in which people help each other is that the group is often better equipped than a set of individuals to deal with threats from the outside. People intuitively realize there is strength in numbers, and take comfort in the company of others, especially in times of anxiety or need. “United we stand, divided we fall.” I think that is a good metaphor about how being socially healthy does only affect your risk of death it also affects your feelings.
