THE ROLE DIGITAL MEDIA PLAYS
Most students today have a social website that they go on. That social website attaches us to the dangers of unsafe people that can see our information. However, it's not all bad, digital media lets us stay in contact with our families or friends that we are not able to see everyday. Most people including almost all students are not fully aware of the rules and guidelines to stay safe and be careful with their online profiles. Not just on social websites but also, any where in the digital media pathway that most of the students or human population have taken since the electronics were created.

Consequences for posting inappropriate or negative comments online.
The consequences for posting bad comments online are, it will be harder for you to find a job. The things you commented are online forever the employer would see it and not hire you. It could also make it harder for you to go to a college because they look at that too. What you do online is not private it is every where like bacteria, any one can see it when ever they want to.

Pros and cons of meeting new people online.
The pros of meeting someone new on the internet is diversity. You meet people you might not have originally ever known. You see the different kinds of people there are however, they are not always good that brings us to the cons of meeting people. The cons are, you never know what the person is really like they might be bad people. You can't tell if they are safe or not.

Upstander- people who are willing to stand up and take action in defense of others.
Bystander- a person who is present at an event or incident but does not take part.
Offender- A person or thing that does something wrong or causes problems.

It is very important to be an upstander to help others is a blessing. Be the person everyone needs don't just watch as something bad is happening do something about it. You don't have to do much go get someone or even just say stop and get back up. People want guardian angels and thats what you could be if you be an upstander.
