El Mes Nacional de la Herencia Hispana es un recordatorio importante de cuánta fuerza sacamos como Nación de nuestras raíces inmigrantes y nuestros valores como Nación de inmigrantes. Me enorgullece reconocer a mis cuatro secretarios de gabinete hispanos: el secretario de Salud y Servicios Humanos Xavier Becerra, el secretario de Seguridad Nacional Alejandro Mayorkas, el secretario de Educación Miguel Cardona y la administradora de pequeñas empresas Isabel Guzmán, quienes son departamentos ejecutivos líderes que supervisan componentes críticos de Vida americana. Mi Administración se enfoca en hacer de la equidad una prioridad y garantizar que los hispanos estén al frente y en el centro de nuestros esfuerzos para mejorar las vidas de las familias trabajadoras en todo el país.

Shiloh Elementary will continue to offer our FREE program

called Play 2 Learn, for ages birth to 5 along with a parent or guardian!

This class is offered once a week, every Wednesday from 9:10am - 10:40am starting on August 10 and going through May. You do not have to live in our school district to register, you just need to live anywhere in Gwinnett county. All instruction is in-person.

Gwinnett’s standards for grades K–12 are called the Academic Knowledge and Skills (AKS) and are aligned to the state-adopted Georgia Standards of Excellence (GSE) in Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies for students at all grade levels. Gwinnett’s AKS are rigorous standards that prepare students for college and 21st century careers in a globally competitive future.
