Summer School
The following summer school postings will be available on February 24: Grades 9-12 certified staff Grades 6-8 certified staff Grades PreK-5 certified staff Special Education certified staff K-12 (including OT, PT, APE, and SLPs) ECSE certified staff Paraprofessionals Clerks Library Media Specialists
Summer School Salaries: Certified staff $3000 Clerks (who remain until routes clear)
$2000 Paraprofessionals: $1540
First round summer staff hiring will be determined based on enrollment on April 15th. If needed, additional hiring will be based on enrollment data for May 4.
The dates for summer school are:
Tuesday, May 31, 2016- Thursday, June 23, 2016.
Summer school will be in session a total of 16 days this summer.
Week 1: Tuesday, May 31- Friday, June 2, 2016
Week 2: Monday, June 6-Thursday, June 9, 2016
Week 3: Monday June 13-Thursday, June 16, 2016
Week 4: Monday, June 20- Thursday June 23, 2016
The length of the school day is 8 hours for students (7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.) and for school staff, the working day is 7:05 am-3:50 p.m. STAFF will need to attend ALL required meetings.
