COVID Protocol Updates

COVID Case Update

There are 0 classrooms in quarantine. The one classroom that was in the flip to remote status for 2 days returned on Monday. There was not a COVID positive class present in the class which allowed for the class to return to in person learning. As of September 25th, there have been no cases of COVID 19 present at Peirce for SY22.

Peirce will begin weekly COVID testing on Monday, September 20th. Staff from Thermo Fisher will be onsite to facilitate the testing process for students and staff. Currently, we are scheduled to test on Mondays, although the date may change as the schedule for Thermo Fisher is worked out.

Parents/guardians will need to complete the COVID-19 Testing Consent Form that was emailed to all parents and guardians from on Friday, August 27, 2021 if you want your child tested.

If you did not receive the email from CPS, you can complete the paper version and return to your child's teacher.

We want to thank the Peirce community for all your generous donations and to all the volunteers who donated their time!

We also want to give a shout out to Kevin Michalski (a Peirce granddad) for donating the printing of all the signs and banners, and our friends at St. Greg's church for lending us the parking lot for the weekend! We hope to make this a yearly FOP fundraising event!
