Activity Passes and Family Passes
In advance of tonight’s Homecoming Football Game, we wanted to share some information related to ticket purchasing and passes. Game time is 7:00pm and our opponent is St. James Academy.
Individual Student Passes - This is the last game for which pass lists will be available; at future games, students without Activity Passes must purchase single-game tickets Purchased in ParentVue through Optional Fees for $40, student activity passes are printed on students’ photo ID cards, and all students should have picked up their student IDs by Friday afternoon. Passes are represented with a yellow circle that reads “Activity Pass.”
Already picked up? Students with activity passes should use the pass gate entrance - see attached image.
Purchased but not yet picked up? You will need to purchase a ticket at one of the four ticket windows.
Family Passes - This is the last game for which pass lists will be available; at future games, families without Family Passes must purchase single-game tickets Purchased in ParentVue through Optional Fees for $85, these passes grant admission to two adults in the household and any K-8 students. Current BVW students must have an Individual Activity Pass - they cannot enter on a Family Pass.
Already picked up? Please enter at the Pass Gate with your pass in hand
Purchased but not yet picked up? Please enter at the Pass Gate, where a staff member will have a list of purchased passes; you will be admitted, and you will receive your pass. Unclaimed passes will be mailed on Monday morning.
Single-Game Tickets – Tickets for single game admission are available at any of the 4 ticket windows for $7 (adult) and $5 (student and seniors). Ticket windows have Home/Visitor labels but we advise to choose the shortest line and then head to the BVW side after purchasing.
We look forward to celebrating BVW Homecoming 2021 with you tomorrow night!
Homecoming Dance is Saturday, September 18, 2021
Our Homecoming Dance will occur on Saturday evening. Outside guests must have prior approval completed by 9/17 at 4pm.
To provide a safe dance environment tickets are available for pre-purchase only and the dance has been divided into 3 shifts. Tickets can be purchased for 3rd shift only at this site or for $20 at the door. All other shifts are sold out and no additional tickets are available.
Students MUST REMAIN MASKED for the duration of the dance. Failure to properly wear a mask will result in the student being asked to leave. We know how many kids missed opportunities like these last year; please help us in providing a safe environment for all students by reinforcing the importance of mask wearing at the dance as well as other indoor school events.

Families of Blue Valley West High School students
The Blue Valley School District is excited to partner with Panorama to collect perceptual survey data on students’ social-emotional learning skills. The survey will be administered in October and March and provides helpful information for classroom teachers and other school personnel to help meet the needs of each student.
The survey includes questions related to the following topics:
School safety — perceptions of students’ physical and psychological safety while at school
Self-management — students’ ability to manage emotions, thoughts, and behaviors
Social awareness — students’ ability to consider the perspectives of others and empathize with them
Self-efficacy — students’ belief that they can succeed in achieving academic outcomes
Grit — students’ ability to persevere through setbacks toward achieving goals
Emotional regulation — how well students regulate their emotions
Sense of belonging — how much students feel they are valued members of the school community
A couple of items to note:
Please log into ParentVue to either opt your student into participating or opt your student out of participating. Participation is entirely voluntary. Upon logging into ParentVue, a screen will pop-up, and families will have the opportunity to record their decision.
Implementation reflects a Kansas State Department of Education requirement for school districts to collect social-emotional learning data.
You can learn more about the survey at https://www.panoramaed.com.
