Weathering, Erosion and Deposition
3 Slow Changes By Grace Calhoun
Weathering
Weathering is the process of breaking rocks or minerals, and making them into smaller pieces. Weathering can be caused by water, air, chemicals, plants and even animals.
Erosion
Erosion is the process of taking the broken rocks or minerals to a new place. Rocks and minerals can be moved by wind water and ice.
Deposition
Deposition is the process of dropping those particles. Deposition can drop sand and make sand dunes, after erosion takes it with wind.
